Biography:
Born in 1983, Hannes Hirsch was head of his school’s student magazine and shot his first short films during this time. After his high school diploma he studied italian language and cultural-studies in Italy for a year. Returning to Germany, he worked as a video-operator in various film and television production offices. Inspired by these experiences he developed and published the software “Fuzzlecheck”, which has been used by many big TV channels and film production companies. Since 2006 he is studying film directing at the Filmarche e.V. in Berlin and has shot several short films which have been screened at different film festivals and received awards.
