Paul Wright
In 2007, Screen International named Paul Wright as a UK ‘Star of Tomorrow’ following the success of his first short film, Hikikomori. In the summer of 2008, Paul wrote and directed Believe, a short film produced by Rhianna Andrews (Young Films), with finance from Scottish Screen. The film won the Golden Leopard for Best International Short Film at the 62nd Locarno International Film Festival in August 2009.
Paul is one of the writer/directors involved in the ‘Advanced Party 2’ scheme (Sigma Films/Zentropa Films).
