The film, which played in Venice and Toronto already and was sold by New Europe to over 20 territories is opening in UK and Ireland with Vertigo next week. Releases in France (Bodega), Benelux (Imagine), Switzerland (Xenix), among others, will follow.

The press called it “superb” (Cineuropa). Filmuforia wrote “Corpus Christi is a mature, wise and very innovative feature, whose emotional intensity enthrals the audience for the whole two hours.” The Hollywood Reporter called Bartosz Bielenia’s performance “remarkable” while Screen Daily said “Bielenia captures a vivid sense of the emotions that Daniel experiences. (…) His committed performance and Komasa’s assured storytelling convince us that God can work in mysterious ways.”
