The Golden Slipper for Best Feature Film for Youth went to Delegation by Asaf Saban. In it, Israeli secondary-school students embark on a transformative journey to Poland’s Holocaust sites, where, amidst personal conflicts, evolving friendships and romantic feelings, they gain a deeper understanding of their identities and values against the backdrop of cultural traditions and historical tragedy. The jury applauded the film for painting “a dynamic picture of friendship and love, brilliantly portrayed with the subtle addition of details that create an illuminating and unforgettable experience”.
