Manhattan PR executive with a specialty for smear campaigns.
A toxic build-up of stress, alcohol and miscommunication leads her
to get relocated to the Balkans for a job that sounds noble
– director of outreach at a ‘peace lab’ – but in reality involves
generating fake news to target political regimes on the fringes of the EU.
Desperate to make amends for past mistakes and show initiative,
she ends up staging footage of atrocities that gets her into deeper
and deeper trouble, with serious international consequences.

the Na Sídhe – sinister entities who she believes abducted her decades before.
As the two develop a strangely deep connection, Shoo is consumed by the old
woman’s paranoia, rituals, and superstitions, eventually confronting the horrors
from her own past.
