We’re excited to share that we have boarded Hlynur Pálmason’s upcoming THE LOVE THAT REMAINS. The sales for the movie will commence at the Berlinale’s European Film Market in February. Prior to that, the first clips will be presented to attendees of Göteborg Nordic Film Market at the end of this month.

The new feature was shot in Eastern Iceland and is due to be completed in 2025.

The film tenderly captures a year in the life of a family as the parents navigate their separation. Through both playful and heartfelt moments, the film portrays the bittersweet essence of faded love and shared memories amidst the changing seasons.

After working on Pálmason’s previous titles, spanning Godland (Cannes Un Certain Regard), Winter Brothers (Locarno competition) and A White, White Day (Cannes Critics’ Week), as well as his 2022 short Nest (Berlinale Special), we could not be happier to be teaming up with Still Vivid and Snowglobe once again.
